John is very excited to have landed a small role in the upcoming feature film, “The Diary of a Teenage Girl.” Acting alongside incredible talents like Kristen Wiig (Charlotte) and Alexander Skarsgard (Monroe) was a fantastic opportunity. The film debuted in the Dramatic Competition at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival (the screenplay was written by director Marielle Heller under a Sundance Institute grant). A gritty coming of age story set in 1970s San Francisco, “Diary” will surely turn a few heads. John plays Burt, one of Charlotte and Monroe’s best party friends.
